Xavier Marques works as a musician and producer at Casa da Lenha, a music production studio situated in Aveiro. Started as a musician and studied the technical part of sound where he could explore the backstage of music production. Focused on this area, he later produced records with artists of different musical styles and composed original music for cinema, for which he was awarded at several international film festivals. More recently, he’s working on multidisciplinary projects where he combines his musical experience with a visual expression. On the realms of cinema, he is currently touring with a film company playing the original music soundtrack for the movie ‘DENTRE’ along with live sound design during the movie exhibition. On music production, Xavier presents his music as Jupiter, a transdisciplinary and conceptual electronic music project.
