 Join the best hackers, artists, developers, makers and inventors from around Scandinavia and across Europe at the #MTFScandi 24-hour Hack Camp. There are only 50 places - and as well as getting exclusive access to brand new tech coming out of the top research institutes in Europe, you’ll also get to stay in one of the coolest new hotels for the price of a hostel.

The overnight Hack Camp will be at Sliperiet at the Umeå Arts Campus as part of Music Tech Fest Scandinavia, 29-31 May 2015. The Hack Camp launches on Saturday 30th of May at 12pm CET and runs through the night, finishing after 24 hours at 12pm CET on Sunday 31st - and you’ll showcase your projects on the #MTFStage on Sunday evening.

We’ve got exclusive electronics & technologies from institutions such as Fraunhofer, IRCAM, Technische Universität Wien and the Music Technology Group at Pompeu Fabra - and you’ll get your hands on these before anyone else. There will be awards for the best entries in a range of different categories - and we have some money set aside to support promising projects to develop beyond the festival into real world commercial prototypes.
