Currently working at CERN IdeaSquare, the innovation space at CERN, Romain has a background in engineering with a rich experience in EU research and innovation policy and the management of EU funded projects, having worked for the EIT. At CERN IdeaSquare, Romain has been developing initiatives around citizen science to monitor the progress and contribute to the SDGs, such as in the Crowd 4 SDG EU funded project - https://crowd4sdg.eu. Romain has been involved as well in the EU project ATTRACT to support deep tech development in Europe on detection and imaging technologies - https://attract-eu.com. Mixing his experience in innovation with his practice in contemporary dance and bodymind approaches, Romain has developed a method to use embodiment to stimulate creativity in innovative processes. Romain has trained 700+ students from across the world in using movement as way to build innovation capacity.
