Theremidi Orchestra is an audio-visual DIY community initiated by participants of the Theremini and Teremidi physical interface workshop. Rather than a subject, Theremidi Orchestra can be thought of as a verb: an ongoing workshop of noise and drone production. Hugely engaging and engrossing, the spontaneous live sets and improvisations produced by this hands-on electro noise ensemble exist in the present continuous whilst simultaneously referring to the history of electronic music. In this unique performance for #MTFCentral, Thermidi orchestra will present a showcase of new
instruments they have co-developed; Theremin 4011, MicroNoise, TouchTone, Super-in-low, Weirdamine and Synthroid.
