We are interested in creating a field of experience where sound and music simultaneously confront and collaborate while speaking in different languages to a curious listener.
We are interested in raising some questions. What is music? What is sound? Are there really beautiful sounds and ugly sounds? How to arrange sounds without rhythm, melody or harmony and still evoke the emotional response that music has? Furthermore, how to play with everyday sounds gathered from field recordings as if they are conventional musical instruments? How can technology help that? Where is the thin line that divides music from pure sound? Is there any aesthetic pleasure that can be gained from experience of dancing on that thin line?
We believe there is. And we believe technology nowadays can boost the quest for finding new beauty or perhaps just beauty hidden in sounds we hear everyday.
It just depends on how much time are you willing to invest in listening. Not just hearing. Really listening.
