Airstrument uses #MusicBricks technology to analyse the music playing and then allows the user to play melodies within the correct scale and musical context using hand gestures. This instrument makes it possible for people with motor disabilities to make music with much more freedom and expression. Airstrument is an accessible instrument that encourages everyone to explore music and sound through movement.
#MusicBricks is a collaboration between Stromatolite, Sigma-Orionis, Ircam-Centre Pompidou, Music Technology Group, Vienna University of Technology, and Fraunhofer IDMT
