#MTFLabs: Vocal Tech
On Thursday 26th and Friday 27th May, experimental vocal pioneer Reeps One will lead a laboratory of brilliant creative developers, coders, designers and makers to experiment at the edges of what is possible for the human voice.
Experimenting with sonic and visual responses to vocal stimuli, participants will work closely with the champion beatboxer and vocalist as well as other guest vocal stars from Music Tech Fest to invent new concepts, product prototypes, research projects and performance art works to showcase on the main festival stage, and develop further beyond the festival.
This is not a workshop or a hackathon. It’s a laboratory with cutting edge experiments that aim to push the state of the art and the state of the science to new levels. There are 12 places in the Vocal Tech Lab. Here’s where you can apply.
