#MTFBerlin 2014 was the birthplace of telehacking with Boston and telejamming with Barcelona. We hacked with Stephen Fry, teamed up with Rethink Music by Berklee and Midem, and invented using RS components. First time hackers Piotr Paduch and Sara Morris impressed both the jury and audiences by creating engaging performances using electronic interfaces they had invented and created from scratch overnight, and both won top hack camp awards while taking on the ‘YourFry’ challenge using the voice of Stephen Fry, courtesy of Penguin Books. The festival included remote participation from Berklee College of Music graduates in Boston in our first ‘telehackathon’.
