Hugo Branco is currently the artistic director of the arts-residency-guesthouse-cultural-centre VIC // Aveiro Arts House in Aveiro, Portugal. His body of work spreads throughout disciplines such as sound art; sound design for scenic arts, for video and for multimedia installation; cultural programming and curatorship; project management and events production; research, writing and communication; field recording; and live electronic improvisation. He believes in interconnectedness, knowledge sharing, participation and co-creation to be main driving forces for creativity and cultural evolution.
