I am Frida Almgren, an entrepreneur, a singer and a mother, to mention a few of the things about me. I am passionate about music and the impact it has on our everyday life; how music can take you to that special place in the blink of an eye, create bonds to other people across the globe or give life to that favourite memory like it happened yesterday. And music and tech combined sort of have endless possibilities.
During my career I have focused on helping companies tell their story by different initiatives. I have done this for tech and consumer clients in Stockholm and London at the international communications agency Burson-Marsteller, at the Swedish music and sound branding agency, Heartbeats Internationa,l and lately as Head of Communication at the global tech brand Mastercard in the Nordics and Baltics.
A few months ago, I turned into an entrepreneur and founder kicking off my own communications firm Frida Almgren Communication, which I am super excited and proud about. I thought I might not have the courage to do it, but I did and it feels so great. It also feels extra good as we need more women owners and entrepreneurs leading the way and inspiring other women to take that same path.
So, who am I outside my professional life? Well, I have kind of a dark sense of humour and love to make people laugh, I try to be a good role model for my two kids Frank and Greta and probably spend too much time lurking on Instagram when I should be out running.
At MTF Stockholm I will be doing a couple of interviews with inspirational and cool speakers in the JAZZIZ lounge.
