In 2013 I moved to London where I finished a MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship. From that point until today, I’ve been working in business development, music production and creative conceptualization for companies in London, Berlin, Bogota and New York.
I’ve also been speaking and/or performing at various festivals in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Some of these include Europe’s Capital City of Culture (Malta), TEDx Teusaquillo (Colombia), PADAF (South Korea), Mandala Festival (Lithuania) and ASM Festival (Germany). In them I have shared my research on the ways that local musical traditions can bring awareness on the world of our native ancestors that have been forgotten, but remain relevant to the changing rules of the systems and ideas in contemporary culture.
I am now working with KLING KLANG KLONG, which has been a big step for me, using technology to understand and illuminate experiences of music. In the studios we are researching all the possible ways to interact with audiences, whilst being aware of how strongly this interaction can shake our realities.
KLING KLANG KLONG is a creative studio for sound, music and acoustic narratives based in Berlin.
We play music and design spaces with our heads, hands and hearts. Our work stands in the intersection between art, science and communication. As a result, our projects create new pioneering approaches to communicate with audiences through exhibition spaces, motion pictures, interactive installations, performances and public spaces.
