Erik Beijnoff specialises in blockchain technologies and the potential transformative effects they will have on society at large. He is actively engaged in pushing for the adoption of decentralised solutions built on these technologies, in different industries and areas of society.

Erik used to work at Spotify to locate strategy and long term solutions for rights management in the music industry, among them investigating the possibilities of applying blockchain technology to solve the rights issues that are plaguing the music industry today.

Before joining Spotify, Erik was the founder and CEO of a consultancy firm, which had a central role in the creation of a playlist company called Tunigo. Tunigo was the first company that got acquired by Spotify and formed the basis for the section called Browse. Browse is one of the services that until this day has had the most impact on the evolution of Spotify.
